Sensitivity Improvement of Surface Plasmon Resonance Biosensors with GeS-Metal Layers

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensors, with germanium sulfide (GeS) as a sensitive medium and Al/Ag/Au the metal layers, are reported we aim to improve sensitivities of biosensors. The in conventional SPR consisting only Al, Ag, Au 111°/RIU, 117°/RIU, 139°/RIU, respectively. Additionally, these biosensors based on GeS-Al, GeS-Ag, GeS-Au layers have an obvious improvement, resultant 320°/RIU, 295°/RIU, 260°/RIU, We also discuss changing sensing GeS thickness using layer number describe scenario which brought about diversification figure merit (FOM) optical absorption (OA) performance These show improvement sensitivity strong excitation analytes; believe that kind could find potential applications biological detection, chemical examination, medical diagnosis.
